[ADV] Toxic DDMence

So since I've decided I'm mentally stable enough to play properly now, here's another unexpected set (although I can likely see it going popular since its a ridiculously effective lure)


Salamence (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Intimidate
EVs: 116 HP / 252 Atk / 140 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Dragon Dance
- Hidden Power [Flying]
- Earthquake
- Toxic

Pretty self explanatory. Preys on people being forced to switch in bulky waters/Claydol if they see a Mence. Also forces Zapdos out. Needs Magneton support to be effective, because once they figure out theres no Fire move, you can bet your life they're gonna be throwing a Skarm or Forry at you. Much better way of beating Pert than slapping HP grass on there and sacrificing HP Flying.

Other than magneton, what team support should there be?

Spikes will be beneficial. A way to deal with Weezing would be nice. Other than that, this set is pretty good to go. Just make sure you have things that switch into things aimed at Mence (Jirachi, Suicune, etc) and you should be fine.

Cool set *Steals* Anyway what are the EV's for?

EVs are standard DD Mence EVs... 271 Speed to speed creep on other Mences. 270 is for outspeeding Adamant Hera, but thats not good enough for me.
